Michael Porter
Michael Porter Jr. struggles from three, scores 16
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 4:11 PM
Michael Porter Jr. accounted for 16 points (6-of-15 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), four rebounds and one three-pointer in Monday's loss to the Knicks.
Analysis: Porter had a rough night, shooting 1-of-9 from beyond the arc as the Nets remained winless at home. That ends a streak of five straight games with at least three three-pointers, during which he shot 42.9 percent on 8.4 three-point attempts per game. Porter's fantasy value is fine for now, but there remains the lingering concern that the Nets could choose to either trim his minutes or go the “injury management” route later this season. He'll look to bounce back when the Nets host the 76ers on Friday.
Noah Clowney
Noah Clowney scores career-high 31 points vs. NYK
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 4:11 PM
Noah Clowney shot 9-of-17 from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line in Monday's loss to the Knicks, scoring 31 points with four rebounds, three assists and seven three-pointers.
Analysis: Clowney didn't record any defensive stats in Monday's defeat, but the third-year forward/center had the best offensive night of his NBA career. Not only did Clowney record career-highs in points and three-pointers, but he also finished with his first 30-point game. While his season-long value places him just outside the top-200 in nine-cat formats, Clowney has been close to a top-50 player over the last two weeks. Rostered in 20 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he's worth a look in more 14-team leagues due to the Nets' status as a rebuilding team.
Nic Claxton
Nic Claxton (quad) available Monday vs. New York
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 1:08 PM
C.J. Holmes
Nic Claxton (quad) is available for Monday's game against the Knicks.
Analysis: Claxton is good to go after being listed as probable on the initial injury report. The Nets will stick with their same starting five, with Egor Dëmin, Terance Mann, Michael Porter Jr. and Noah Clowney completing the quintet.
Nic Claxton
Nic Claxton (quad) probable Monday vs. Knicks
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 8:48 AM
Nic Claxton (quad) is probable for Monday's game against the Knicks.
Analysis: Claxton is dealing with left quad tightness, but is likely to play given his designation of probable on the injury report. The 26-year-old center had 10 points in 31 minutes against the Raptors on Sunday. Claxton could have a matchup advantage against the Knicks if Mitchell Robinson, who's questionable with an illness, is ruled out.

MPJ records 25/6/4/1/1 line in loss to Raptors
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 3:18 PM
Michael Porter Jr. amassed a team-high 25 points (9-of-18 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 32 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Raptors.
Analysis: Porter has been sizzling hot of late, topping 25 points for the fourth straight game. The 27-year-old playmaker has performed at a first-round level from a fantasy standpoint over the past two weeks, averaging 27.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and one steal across his last six contests. The Nets are back in action on Monday night with a showdown against the Knicks before returning to action on Friday with a back-to-back against the 76ers and Bucks to close out a three-game week.
Nic Claxton
Nic Claxton, Egor Dëmin available Sunday vs. TOR
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:48 AM
C.J. Holmes
Nic Claxton (elbow) and Egor Dëmin (neck, jaw) are available for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
Analysis: Claxton and Dëmin were initially probable for Sunday's game, so the upgrades in status were expected. They will occupy their usual places in the Nets starting lineup. While Claxton is worth rostering in 12-team formats, Dëmin is a solid option in deeper formats.

Nic Claxton (elbow) probable Sunday vs. Toronto

Meghan Triplett
Nic Claxton (elbow) is probable for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
Analysis: Claxton is dealing with a sprained left elbow. While he is listed as probable on the initial injury report for Sunday, the Nets' starting center is a left-handed shooter. If Claxton can't play against Toronto, Day'Ron Sharpe will likely move into the starting lineup.

MPJ stays hot with 33 points as Nets top Celtics
Fri, Nov 21, 2025, 8:06 PM
Michael Porter Jr. delivered a dominant performance during Friday's 113-105 win over the Celtics, finishing with 33 points (13-of-21 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), eight rebounds and two assists over 36 minutes.
Analysis: Here's an oversimplification: Porter was able to get whatever shot he wanted from anywhere on the floor against an undersized Celtics squad. He eclipsed 20 points for the eighth straight game and posted his fifth 30-point outing of the season, drilling four of six from deep and shooting nearly 62 percent overall as Boston had no answers for his blend of size, speed and athleticism. The 27-year-old scoring machine has delivered third-round fantasy production so far, averaging 24.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 0.8 steals through 14 games.
Nic Claxton
Claxton records triple-double in win over Celtics
Fri, Nov 21, 2025, 8:02 PM
Nic Claxton recorded his first career triple-double with 18 points (7-of-15 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), 11 rebounds, 12 assists, one steal and one block over 34 minutes in Friday's win over the Celtics.
Analysis: Claxton took full advantage of Boston's lackluster frontcourt as he seemed to be able to get to the rim whenever he wanted against relatively inexperienced big men Neemias Queta and Luka Garza. The double-digit assists were the real surprise here as it was the first time he was in double figures in that department since last March. He's averaging 14.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.3 blocks through 15 games this season.
Noah Clowney
Clowney chips in 19 points in win over Celtics
Fri, Nov 21, 2025, 8:00 PM
Noah Clowney matched a season-high with 19 points (7-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one steal and three blocks over 37 minutes in Friday's win over the Celtics.
Analysis: It doesn't totally show up on the stat sheet, but Clowney was a real X-factor in this contest as he relentlessly attacked the rim early on, finishing the first half with 14 points while also blocking three shots on the defensive end of the floor. He cooled off a bit in the second half but led the Nets in minutes over the final two quarters. He would've had an even bigger night offensively had he not gone ice-cold from three-point range, hitting just three of 11 attempts from distance.
Day'Ron Sharpe
Day'Ron Sharpe scores 14 points in 17 minutes
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 4:09 PM
Day'Ron Sharpe tallied 14 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists and three steals in Tuesday's loss to the Celtics.
Analysis: Sharpe hit double figures for the third time this season on Tuesday, and he's produced respectable scoring and rebounding averages over the last two weeks. During this stretch, he's averaged 7.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists, but the defensive stats have been lacking on most nights. And with Nic Claxton (7/11/3/0/1) ahead of him in the pecking order, Sharpe's fantasy ceiling is extremely limited. He's only worth rostering on nights when Clax is unavailable.

Michael Porter Jr. leads Nets with 25 points
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 4:08 PM
Michael Porter Jr. accumulated 25 points (8-of-16 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, three steals and four three-pointers in Tuesday's loss to the Celtics.
Analysis: Since missing the Nets' November 3 loss to the Timberwolves, Porter has scored at least 21 points in seven straight games. During this stretch, the Nets forward has averaged 27.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.4 three-pointers in 33.2 minutes, shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 89.6 percent from the foul line. That's the production many fantasy managers hoped Porter would provide in his new home, posting gaudy numbers for a rebuilding team. The lone concern for the rest of the season is a potential shutdown as the front office prioritizes maximizing its draft lottery odds.

MPJ goes off for 34 points as Nets rout Wizards
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 2:40 PM
Michael Porter Jr. went off for a season-high 34 points (11-of-18 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), nine rebounds and seven assists in a win over the Wizards.
Analysis: Porter fell just short of a triple-double as he powered the Nets to their second win of the season in a battle between Eastern Conference bottom-dwellers. He dominated the first half, knocking down six of his first eight shots and scoring 19 points to give Brooklyn a 10-point halftime lead, then tacked on 15 more after the break as the Nets cruised to a comfortable victory. The 24-year-old has emerged as Brooklyn's go-to option this season, averaging 23.3 points and 7.7 rebounds through 11 games. The Nets face a three-game week ahead, including back-to-back matchups with the Celtics before taking on the Raptors next weekend.
Nic Claxton
Claxton posts 17/9/7/4 line in win over Wizards
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 2:39 PM
Nic Claxton accumulated 17 points (5-of-7 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists and four blocks over 30 minutes during Sunday's win over the Wizards.
Analysis: Claxton did a little bit of everything for Brooklyn against a Washington squad that had zero answers from a defensive standpoint, hitting five of his seven shots from the field while getting to the line nine times. He fell just shy of another double-double with nine boards and also chipped in seven assists. He's delivered fifth-round value this season for fantasy managers, averaging 15.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists 0.8 steals and 1.4 blocks through 13 contests.

MPJ dishes out career-best seven assists in loss
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 3:49 PM
Michael Porter Jr. led the Nets with 24 points (10-of-23 FGs), 11 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three three-pointers in a 105-98 loss to the Magic on Friday.
Analysis: MPJ provided his usual supply of buckets, but his playmaking was what was intriguing. His previous career-high for assists was six, but he matched that mark in the first quarter and surpassed it by halftime. He didn't add any more dimes after the break, but he was still able to have an excellent night despite the loss. MPJ will continue to be a fantasy stud on a tanking team, though managers shouldn't expect him to dish out that many assists often.
Noah Clowney
Noah Clowney scores 12 points in 27 minutes
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 3:43 PM
Noah Clowney finished with 12 points (2-of-8 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers against the Magic on Friday.
Analysis: Clowney has been an effective scoring option as a starter for the Nets, and that trend continued in this game. He has started the last six games for Brooklyn and has scored in double figures in five of those. This was a subpar shooting performance from him, with half his points coming from the free throw line and the other half coming from beyond the arc. Still, his starting spot feels safe, and he has an intriguing matchup coming up on Sunday to close out the week.
Ziaire Williams
Ziaire Williams scores 15, swipes three steals
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 3:40 PM
Ziaire Williams provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), one rebound, three steals and two three-pointers against the Magic on Friday.
Analysis: Williams has been a solid reserve for Brooklyn this season, where he has been an inconsistent source of offense. He has been able to hit shots from deep frequently, but he has been more valuable to the Nets than he has been for fantasy managers. He was one of five players to score in double figures for Brooklyn, but that wasn't enough for them to get a win. Williams should be left on the waiver wire unless he gets the opportunity to start, which has yet to happen this season.
Day'Ron Sharpe
Day'Ron Sharpe (glute) active Friday vs. Magic
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 7:49 AM
NBA Injury Report
Day'Ron Sharpe (glute) is available for Friday's matchup with the Magic.
Analysis: As expected, Sharpe is back following a one-game absence. His availability could mean less run for Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton, though both should still see meaningful minutes.
Day'Ron Sharpe
Day'Ron Sharpe (glute) probable vs. Orlando
Thu, Nov 13, 2025, 10:56 AM
NBA Injury Report
Day'Ron Sharpe (glute) is probable to play against the Magic on Friday.
Analysis: Sharpe is expected to be back after a one-game absence. Noah Clowney, who has been starting for Brooklyn, saw a bump in minutes and filled the backup center role when Nic Claxton was on the bench. Clowney should still play a large role, but he'll lose a few minutes with Sharpe expected back.
Nic Claxton
Claxton posts 21 points, eight rebounds vs. Raptors
Tue, Nov 11, 2025, 5:26 PM
Nic Claxton accounted for a season-high 21 points (8-of-14 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks over 35 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Raptors.
Analysis: Claxton did everything in his power to keep Brooklyn in this one, but it simply wasn't enough as he reached the 20-point plateau for the first time this season. The 26-year-old big man has been on a roll lately, delivering second-round value for fantasy managers over the past two weeks, averaging 17 points, eight rebounds, four assists and one steal over his last seven contests. The Nets will attempt to get back on track when they face the Magic on Friday night in a road matchup.
